Bergen, The beautiful port city on the west coast of Norway, established before 1070 AD, home to the Hanseatic buildings of Bryggen, a World Heritage Site.
Benedicte, a primary school teacher and Kjetil a navigator in Norway’s coastguard got married on the longest day of the year, June 21, 2014.
We (My beautiful wife/Second Shooter and I) flew into Bergen two days before the wedding day, which gave us time to check out the venues and do some serious location scouting, Bergen the gateway to the Fjords did not disappoint! We found some truly majestic locations as you are about to witness. We also shot B+K's engagement session around the buildings of Bryggen. After this we had sometime to chill out and soak up the the sunshine in Bergen. Day two we visited the reception venue, The beautiful, Fjordslottet Hotel. Set up perfectly for a wedding, with a large sky light running the length of the dining area, and various lounge rooms decorated beautifully. Being so far north meant we had endless light, A photographers dream and of course enjoying a glass of red wine at midnight after a long days shooting with the sun still above the horizon was a beautiful experience. Well here it is, Benedicte and Kjetil's Wedding day; You can also Check out more here
